Executive Chef 

Chef E McShane - Asian, Indian, Latin, Italian, Mediterranean, Hawaiian, American Southern, Chef E can do it all! After being classically trained at ICC in New York City, they have worked from San Francisco to Hawaii and now Asheville, North Carolina. Their unique training has enabled Verbena to be able to serve the world’s cuisine right here in the South! Did we mention Chef E is also Irish?

Chef Emma McShane For the love of Pastry! Despite her role as Director of Operations, Chef Emma's first love is pastry. Whether it's crafting 6-tier wedding cakes, Angry Birds grooms cakes, or providing fresh handmade bread for up to 1200 people a day, Emma's love and passion for her work shines through. Classically trained and with over 6 years of professional experience Chef Emma and Verbena can achieve any pastry goal you can imagine!
